The eloquence of the voiceless : a photographic and narrative project by Araia Tamayo Álvarez for UNICEF Mauritania.

On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, we bring the voice of children of different ages, backgrounds and ethnicities of Mauritania. Through their stories, they naturally expose us to different experiences of their lives and allow us to approach their realities. They talk about violence, difficulties, desires for justice and hope.

The problems presented represent the great challenges and priorities for action of the cooperation program between Mauritania and UNICEF, in order to contribute to the improvement of the living conditions of children in the country.
